This set from Rattlesnake contains six 3D-printed resin wheels with snow chains in 1:72, meant for models of the American M8 light armored car and its M20 version. It is not a kit of the vehicle but a replacement set of wheels with which you give a model a faithful winter or off-road look with the chains fitted.
The M8 Greyhound was an American six-wheeled light armored car of the Second World War used for reconnaissance; the M20 version carried out command and communications duties. Snow chains were fitted to the wheels for mud and snow, and they are a rewarding detail for models set in winter or muddy scenes.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with detergent and remove the print supports. Sand the cuts with respiratory protection and glue the parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The chains will benefit from a dark metallic shade and a fine wash; then bring the wheels to life with mud and dust effects using pigments.
The set is an accessory, not a model. Supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the target kit are not included in the package.
