A set of figures of the crew of the MT-12 Rapira anti-tank gun in 1:72 scale from Spalah. 3D-printed resin, supplied unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds figures of the gun crew of the MT-12 Rapira anti-tank gun in 1:72 scale. The maker is the Ukrainian brand Spalah, which 3D-prints its figures from photopolymer resin. A crew is the single most important accessory for a towed weapon, because a gun without people at the carriage gives a scene neither scale nor sense. The figures are supplied unpainted and with print supports, so they belong in the hands of a more experienced modeler.
The MT-12 Rapira is a Soviet 100 mm towed anti-tank gun with a smoothbore barrel, taken into service in the 1960s as the successor to an older weapon of the same caliber. The crew is made up of several gunners, who deploy the weapon into a firing position, work the breech, lay the gun and bring up the ammunition. The weapon is in use to this day and also turns up in current conflicts.
Wash the print resin residue off the figures, cut the print supports away and sand the marks with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). In 1:72 scale work with contrast rather than with a large number of shades. Arrange the figures at the weapon so that each one is doing something different; the scene then looks more natural than a row of identically standing characters.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
