This is a small accessory, not a model of a vehicle: a set of jerrycans in 1:72 scale. The box states ten pieces. The maker is the Ukrainian brand Spalah, which 3D-prints its parts from photopolymer resin. Jerrycans are among the most sought-after accessories of all, because they fit on any vehicle and into any scene, and their presence changes the impression a model makes at once: a vehicle with jerrycans lashed on looks as if it is in service, without them as if it came off the production line.
The jerrycan with its characteristic three handles and the cross pressed into the sides is a design of the 1930s which proved so successful that variations on it are in use to this day across many armies. It holds about twenty liters and is built so that one person can carry one in each hand and so that they can be stacked. Besides fuel it is also used for water, in which case it usually carries different markings.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, cut the print supports away and sand the marks with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the jerrycans separately and feel free to give each one a slightly different shade, so that the scene does not look as if it came out of one mold. A dark wash will bring out the beads and the cross on the side, a dry brush will lift the edges, and small wear can be suggested with a metallic shade.
This is an accessory, not a kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
