A texture roller with a handle, Dutch bricks from Green Stuff World. A regular brick wall pressed into putty in a single pass.
Responsibility details are not available.
A roller with an engraved pattern of a brick wall in the Dutch style, fitted with a handle. The pattern is pressed into soft modeling putty in one pass and creates a regular bond that you would be scribing by hand for hours. A brick wall is the most frequent building element in dioramas of all, so the roller saves a great deal of time.
According to its designation the pattern is intended for scales roughly between 1:87 and 1:72 and the size of the element corresponds to fifteen millimeters. The roller is run over a rolled-out layer of putty. You let the finished sheet cure, cut it to shape and set it into the building. The pattern can be pressed just as well straight into the base of a scene or into a repaired section of a wall.
Moisten the roller and the putty lightly before pressing, or coat them with a release agent. Keep the pressure even and run the roller in one direction, so that the courses of bricks stay horizontal. Liven the painted wall up by toning the individual bricks in different shades; a uniform red surface looks unnatural on a model. Bring the joints out with a light wash.
This is a tool; modeling putty is not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
