DSPIAE, self-adhesive sandpaper in 1000 grit, 30 pieces

Strips of sandpaper with an adhesive back, 30 pieces in the package, in a fine 1000 grit. The paper is stuck onto a sanding plate, a sanding pad or a shaped backing of your own, so it does not give way under pressure and does not bunch up the way a loose sheet held in the fingers does. The range is built so that it can be stuck onto sanding tools from the same manufacturer. A 1000 grit is no longer there to remove material but to finish a surface: it rubs out the scratches left by coarser sanding, levels the transition of cured putty into plastic and prepares the surface under a primer, which does not fill fine grooves but brings them out.

Use

• Stick it onto a sanding plate or a sanding pad and finish a flat surface
• Smoothing out the scratches left by 400 to 800 grit before painting
• Leveling the transition of the putty on a glued seam
• Smoothing a protruding mold seam without rounding the engraved line next to it
• Cut it to size and stick it onto a backing of your own for places that are hard to reach

Who the box is for

For modelers who sand on a hard backing and want a flat surface really flat and an edge sharp, and for anyone who paints gloss surfaces, where unfinished sanding shows at once. Thirty pieces last through a long row of kits, because fine paper is used up more slowly than coarse.

Work from a coarser grit to a finer one, otherwise the older scratches stay visible even under the paint. Do not breathe in the dust from sanding plastic and resin, wipe the surface as you go and air the room during longer sanding. The size of the strip and the contents are stated on the box.
