A set of twenty alligator clips on a metal rod with a handle, which serve to hold small parts while they are sprayed and painted. Instead of holding the part with your fingers and looking for somewhere to put it down, you grip it in the clip, turn it into the light and spray it from every side at once. According to the manufacturer the jaws carry a silicone sleeve so that they leave no mark in soft plastic or in resin.
Grip the part at a place that will end up hidden or that can easily be touched in, typically at a sprue gate remnant or at a surface that seats against the model. Clips with a rod can be stuck into a polystyrene block, into foam or into a stand, and the manufacturer also offers a board with holes to go with them. Wipe the jaws after use while the paint is still wet, as a dried coat hardens the sleeve and the clip then does not hold the part.
For anyone who sprays with an airbrush and needs both hands free, for figure painters and for modelers who paint dozens of small parts at once and want them hung up and neatly arranged.
The jaws are spring loaded and hold with force. Keep the set out of the reach of children and mind the ventilation and respiratory protection while spraying.
