DSPIAE AT-TZ07 is a pair of tweezers with sharply pointed anti-static tips. Intended for the smallest parts and for precise placement.
Responsibility details are not available.
Tweezers with tips of a non-metallic anti-static material, converging to a sharp point. The pointed version is the most precise in the whole range: it beds down at a single point only, so even a part a fraction of a millimeter across can be picked up with it and placed exactly where it belongs.
Metal tweezers pick up a charge through friction and a light object sticks to them at exactly the moment you want to let it go. With decals the static also lifts the edge and the film curls up. An anti-static material removes that effect and does not scratch a painted surface the way a steel tip does.
The tweezers are for the finest work: small photo-etched parts, rivets, figure equipment, small decals and placing parts in an exact position. For ordinary handling and for parts that resist, the version with blunt tips, which is not so easily damaged, is more suitable.
It pays to have the pointed version as a complement to the blunt one and not reach for it for everything. Its value lies precisely in staying precise. The tips are very fine; do not set the tweezers down tips first and do not use them as a screwdriver.
