A fine round brush with synthetic fiber from the Mr. Brush BS line of the Japanese brand Gunze. A round shape drawn to a point is the classic choice for detail work: the brush picks up plenty of paint, yet the stroke stays narrow and easy to control. It is not a paint or a paint set, it is a tool in its own right.
For modelers who paint with a brush and need a second, more precise tool alongside a wide one. Synthetic fiber holds its shape and stands up to solvents better than natural hair, so it copes with paints thinned with alcohol as well. A fine round tip is the first choice for figures and for small metal and plastic details.
Never let paint dry in the metal ferrule; it cannot be washed out of there and the fiber splays permanently. After work, wash the brush with the thinner matching the paint you used, then with soapy water, shape it with your fingers and let it dry lying flat or with the fiber upward. Do not press the brush hard against the model and do not stir paint in the jar with it; both ruin the shape of the fiber faster than painting itself.
Paints and thinners are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
