A solvent modeling cement intended for plastic kits and polystyrene parts. It does not work like an ordinary glue that merely sticks parts together on the surface: the solvent in it melts the surface of the plastic, the two faces soak into one another and, once dry, a firm, practically welded joint is formed. That is exactly why this type of cement is the standard for plastic models: the joint is stronger than a glued one, and where the parts seat well no visible seam is left behind.

Use

• Gluing the parts of plastic kits and polystyrene figures, and related plastics such as ABS or plasticard.
• Applying with the fine brush supplied, always in a thin layer, rather less than more.
• Try the parts dry first, check how they seat, and only then apply the cement and press the joint together briefly.
• Let any excess squeezed out of the seam dry and only then sand it down carefully; a wet, softened spot is easily damaged.
• Do not use it on resin, metal or photo-etched parts; those call for cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or a two-part epoxy resin.

Who the glue is for

For anyone who builds plastic models: aircraft, military vehicles, cars, ships and figures. The 40 ml volume lasts a long time even with regular building, so it is a practical choice for the workbench as a basic everyday cement. It makes clean joints easier for beginners, while more experienced modelers will appreciate being able to work with the softened surface when filling small gaps.

A flammable liquid with organic solvents. Work in a well-ventilated area, away from open flame and sources of sparks, and avoid inhaling the vapors and contact with the eyes and skin. Keep out of the reach of children and close the bottle carefully after use so that the cement does not dry out.
