Carbide drilling and milling heads, three to a package, from DSPIAE. They fit into a modeling mini drill or a grinding pen.
Responsibility details are not available.
Three working heads of a tungsten-based sintered material, intended for a modeling mini drill or an electric grinding pen. They serve to remove material in places where neither a knife nor a file will help: for widening a hole, hollowing out a well, cleaning up inside edges and removing the remains of sprue pins from inside a part.
Clamp the head so that it sticks out no further than necessary; the shorter the overhang, the less it runs out of true. Work at low speed and without pressure, because a sintered material cuts on its own and pressure only heats the plastic until it melts. Proceed in short touches and blow the chips away as you go, otherwise they build up around the head and spoil the cut. The material is hard but brittle, and sideways levering will break the head.
Protect your eyes when working with a power tool, the flying chips are sharp. Do not breathe in the dust from resin and filler, work in a ventilated room and wipe the work area with a damp cloth afterward. Wipe the heads after use and store them separately so that the cutting edges do not rub against each other.
The heads are supplied on their own; a mini drill and a grinding pen are not included in the package. Before buying, check that the collet of your tool matches the shank of the heads; shank diameters differ between manufacturers and an adapter is not usually part of the delivery.
