It is released by the Italian brand Mindwork Games, which has focused on collector's figures and busts for painters since 2015. The release is a limited edition. It is not a toy: the model is supplied unassembled and unpainted and is intended for building and painting.
In Greek mythology Artemis is the goddess of the hunt, of wild nature and of the Moon, and satyrs are woodland creatures from the retinue of the god Dionysus. The scene sets two contrasting figures side by side, one human and one half animal, so it is demanding above all on the painting of skin, fur and different surfaces. A multi-figure composition is also one of the most demanding disciplines in figure painting: it has to hold together as a whole as well.
First wash the parts in warm soapy water, remove the casting blocks and level the mating surfaces. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue and reinforce heavier joints with a wire pin. Sanding has to be done wet and with respiratory protection. Apply a primer before painting. With a multi-figure composition it is worth painting the figures separately and seating them only at the end, otherwise you will not reach the rear surfaces.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
