A portable painting workstation that gathers a whole painting setup into an area of 30x30 cm. It is not finished furniture: it is supplied as an MDF kit with clear acrylic drawer fronts that you glue together yourself, and for that the manufacturer recommends PVA glue (white glue) rather than a cyanoacrylate. The finished station weighs around 3.25 kg and fits into a padded case with a shoulder strap, which is included in the package.

Use

• Two removable side shelves with four metal plates on which figures are held by a magnet.
• A folding A3 cutting mat as the working area.
• Two foam inserts with room for fifty bottles of 17 to 18 ml.
• Drawers with clear fronts for brushes, files and small items.
• A folding silicone water cup of 170 ml with a wide foot against tipping over.
• A flat lamp with 108 LEDs, daylight white 6000 to 6500 K, USB-C power and a 1.5 m cable.

Who it is for

For figure painters and modelers who have no permanent workbench and paint at the dining table or travel to tournaments and meet-ups. After the work the station folds up and is carried away, so work in progress does not have to stay on the table. The lamp can also be run from a power bank, so painting is possible even where there is no outlet.

Safety note: dry-fit the parts before gluing, because once the PVA glue has dried the joint will not let go. Do not leave the lamp or the cable in contact with solvents and thinners, and clean the acrylic drawer fronts with water and a cloth only - solvents will dull them.
