A set of ten magnetic rods eighteen millimeters long. They are dropped straight into the paint bottle and spun by the magnetic field of a stirrer set underneath it. The paint is thereby mixed without your having to open the cap, reach inside or shake the bottle at length. With metallic paints and shades with a high proportion of pigment that settles to the bottom, that is the difference between an even shade and a coat that is one color at the start and another at the end.
A rod usually stays in the bottle permanently, so the number depends on how many paints you use regularly. Ten pieces cover an ordinary working set of shades that get mixed every time.
The refill is for owners of the DSPIAE magnetic paint stirrer. The stirrer itself is not included in the package. The rods will be appreciated above all by those who work with metallic paints and pigment-rich shades.
