Pre-Painted Foldable Three-Story WTC Terrain Ruin - Orks — a three-story folded ruin

A terrain piece from the Spanish brand Green Stuff World. It is not a model kit, but a large obstacle for the playing surface: a three-story ruin in MDF with an Ork styling. It is supplied pre-painted in neutral shades with weathering, so it is playable as soon as it is assembled. The manufacturer calls it the official terrain of the WTC competition circuit, that is of the international team championship, and gives one piece in the package.

What the ruin does on the table

• three stories give elevated positions and block line of sight hard
• the assembly works both ways, so you can set the L up to the left or to the right as needed
• the windows can be folded open or closed, which changes the lines of sight and the access
• the foldable system allows transport without damage to the paint

Building tips

For the first assembly the manufacturer recommends white PVA glue, which gives a firm but flexible joint suited to repeated folding. It does not recommend cyanoacrylate glue, because the joints work loose or get damaged after longer use. With a three-story assembly glue it story by story and let each one dry at a right angle; decide whether you want the windows open or closed and the L to the left or to the right before the joint sets.
