A refillable marker has one great advantage over a ready-made felt pen: you fill it with the paint you really want and are not tied to the manufacturer's palette. In time, though, the tip wears and the sponge soaks up paint, above all when you use the marker for several shades. This set contains everything needed to renew it, so you do not have to buy the marker again, and at the same time you can prepare several of them, each in a different color.
According to the manufacturer the package contains ten tips, ten inner sponges and ten adapters, that is ten complete refills for the marker size 2. Paint is not included; you fill that into the marker yourself.
Put the new sponge into the body of the marker, fit the adapter with the tip and only then dose the paint in. Let the marker stand for a while so that the tip soaks evenly, otherwise the first stroke will release too much paint. According to the manufacturer the refill is compatible with acrylics, metallics, inks and oil-based paints, so you can prepare a set for different kinds of work. When you want to change the color, it is better to change the whole refill, because the remains of the previous shade would muddy the new tone.
The set is meant for modeling use. Keep the small parts out of the reach of children.
