Responsibility details are not available.
An aid for cleaning brushes while you work. It solves a problem familiar to everyone who paints figures: a jar of water tips over, a brush stands in it bristles down, and after a few sessions it is splayed beyond repair. A pot designed for exactly this purpose supports the brush and at the same time holds the water in a stable position.
It is used for rinsing brushes continuously while working with water-thinnable paints, for putting them down briefly between strokes and for the final wash once the work is finished. It is practical to have a separate pot for paint and a separate one for the clean water that the paint is thinned with.
Never leave a brush standing with its bristles resting on the bottom, even for a moment; that is exactly how it splays. Change the water before it colors, because dirty water shifts the shade at the next thinning. After work, pour the pot out and let it dry, otherwise the sediment starts to smell. For solvent-based paints use a separate container with resistance to thinner.
For solvent-based paints and thinners, verify the resistance of the material before using the pot.
