Masking is work in which you keep switching tapes and your hands are busy. A loose roll rolls about the table, the end of the tape gets lost and sticks to itself. A dispenser solves this problem: the roll is fitted into it, stays in place and the tape unwinds smoothly, so it can be taken off with one hand. It is made by Green Stuff World and is intended for the masking tapes used when painting models and figures.
It suits anyone who masks regularly: on aircraft camouflage, on two-tone vehicles and when painting parts in stages. It is not a tool that would change the result of the work, but it noticeably speeds up and eases its most annoying part. Anyone who has ever looked for the end of a tape with a model in the other hand knows what this is about.
