This is a modeling aid, not a kit and not a single-use material. The frames serve as assemblable walls from which you build a bounded space for casting. Inside such a frame you cast a silicone mold or pour resin into a mold without the material running across the workbench. The Large version is meant for bulkier castings and molds.
Treat the inner faces of the frame with a release agent before pouring, as the material then comes away more easily. Mix silicone and resin in the ratio given in the instructions of that particular material, and mix slowly so as not to stir air bubbles into the mix. Set the frame on a flat surface and fill it gradually in a thin stream. Work in a well-ventilated room, use gloves and protect your eyes; two-part resins can irritate the skin, and protect your airways when sanding a cured casting.
It suits modelers who make copies of parts themselves, builders of dioramas and terrain, and anyone who wants to keep the bench tidy while casting. Check the exact dimensions of the assembled frame and the number of parts in the package before you buy; both are given by the manufacturer.
Paints, silicone and casting resin are not included in the package.
