Responsibility details are not available.
A set of water-thinnable acrylic paints from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM for Soviet armored vehicles of the Second World War. The box holds six bottles with a volume of 12 ml. It is not a kit but the paints to finish one.
The set holds the shades Green 4BO, Green Ochre, Hull Red, White and Gun metal, and a matte varnish as well. Green 4BO was the standard Soviet protective color for vehicles, the ocher green serves to break up the surface and for camouflage, the reddish-brown Hull Red as a base under chipped paint and for the running gear, Gun metal for metal armament parts and the white for winter oversprays and tactical markings. The paints dry matte, so a gloss or satin surface has to be added with a varnish. Once dry they are resistant to water and take oil paints, enamels, washes and thinners, so they hold up under weathering techniques.
The set suits a modeler who is building Soviet tanks, self-propelled guns or armored personnel carriers and wants the basic shades together in one place, including the matte varnish for evening out the surface before weathering. The base kit, glue and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
Work in a well-ventilated area and protect your airways when spraying with an airbrush. Keep the paints out of the reach of children.
