DSPIAE SPP-S01 is a starter set of polishing pads with a carrier holder. It holds the holder and eight pads in graded coarseness from coarse to finest.

The set brings together a carrier holder and eight polishing pads, two of each grade of coarseness: coarse, medium, fine and finest. The pads fit onto the holder clamped into a modeling drill or a grinding pen and serve to finish the surface, that is to remove the matte marks left by sanding and to bring out the gloss.
Abrasive paper removes material; polishing merely smooths it. A flexible pad adapts to the shape and passes over a curved surface and an edge without knocking it back. That is exactly why this step comes at the very end, once the shape is finished and only the surface is at stake. On clear parts such as canopies and headlights, polishing brings the clarity back to a face you had to sand.
The set is a good start for anyone taking up polishing who does not want to buy the individual grades separately. It will be appreciated by builders of cars and motorcycles with a gloss finish, and by everyone who has sanded clear parts. The individual grades are topped up separately.
Do not breathe in the dust from polishing; work with extraction or at least with a respirator.
