UV resin for water surfaces, 100 ml from Green Stuff World. A large package for continuous stretches of water and for modelers who use the technique steadily.
Responsibility details are not available.
A clear resin cured by ultraviolet light in a package of 100 ml. It is meant for creating water surfaces, puddles, wet marks and clear fills in dioramas. The largest of the volumes offered makes sense where you are planning a continuous stretch of water, a river, a harbor scene or several projects one after another.
Even with a large package the basic rule holds: apply it in thin layers and cure each one separately. Trying to pour a whole surface at once ends with the lower part staying uncured and tacky. Building layers up also has the advantage that between the layers you can work in murk, weed or objects submerged under the surface.
Work in a well ventilated room and wear gloves; uncured resin irritates the skin. The bed and the sides of the future water surface have to be truly watertight, as a large volume will find every gap. Tint it only lightly, because heavily colored material lets less light through. Ripple the surface with a point only in the last layer, just before you light it with the lamp.
Without a source of ultraviolet light the resin will not cure. Keep it out of direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
