This entertaining kit from the Warship Builder series by Meng renders the American aircraft carrier Lexington in a charming cartoon egg style. It is not tied to any particular scale. The parts are pre-colored and press together (press-fit), so children and beginners can build the model without glue.
The real subject is the American aircraft carrier USS Lexington (CV-2), one of the first large aircraft carriers of the US Navy, originally laid down as a battlecruiser. The egg series treats her with exaggeration, with an overly short and chubby hull, but keeps the characteristic features.
