Waterslide Decals - Train and Graffiti Mix - Silver and Gold

Decals with train and graffiti motifs in silver and gold

The set holds sheets of waterslide decals with lettering and marks in the style of street graffiti and train painting, done in a silver and a gold tone. These are not decals for a particular kit but free motif material used to bring life to the walls of buildings, wagons, containers, concrete surfaces and gaming terrain. The manufacturer Green Stuff World states that the sheets are fully colored and opaque, so the motif is legible even on a dark base, and that they release with plain water without any need for a solvent.

Use

• Varnish the base under the decal to a gloss, as white patches would form under the film on a matte surface.
• Dip the motif you have cut out in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until it can be moved on its paper backing.
• Transfer the decal onto the model, line it up and press the water out from underneath with a soft cloth or a cotton swab.
• On a busy surface use a decal softener and a setting solution so that the film beds into the unevenness.
• Once it is dry, give the whole thing a matte or semi-matte coat, which hides the edges of the film.

Who it is for

The set suits builders of city and industrial dioramas, railway modelers and tabletop gamers who are finishing terrain. It is simple to use and the motifs can be cut and combined as needed.

A decal softener, a setting solution and varnish are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
