Kovozavody Prostejov 1:72 Bf 109 nose spiral decals are decals with which you create the characteristic spiral on the propeller spinner of the German fighter. It is not a kit — you have to have the model itself.

This is a sheet of decals, not a model. It is not a kit — you have to have the Bf 109 model. The decals serve a single but very rewarding purpose: to create on the propeller spinner the spiral that German fighters wore. They are made by Kovozavody Prostejov, a Czech maker.
German fighters often had a painted spiral on the propeller spinner — white or colored. In flight it turned and created an optical vortex; today it is one of the most characteristic visual features of the Luftwaffe and it catches the eye on a model at once. But painting the spiral on a spinner by hand is a nightmare: it is a surface of revolution and the spiral has to curve correctly across it, otherwise it comes out asymmetric and wanders. Doing it cleanly by hand is practically impossible — a decal solves it for you.
A flat decal does not go onto a conical surface easily — without help it simply will not settle without wrinkles. So reckon on needing a decal softener to make the decal supple enough to conform to the shape of the spinner; sometimes the decal also has to be slit finely so the excess material can overlap. Apply the decal over a gloss clear coat — on a matte surface a white haze (silvering) forms under the carrier film. Once dry, overcoat it with a matte or semi-gloss clear.
