Messerschmitt Bf 109 G/K - technical markings, stencils (1:72, Kovozavody Prostejov)

A set of wet (water-slide) decals with technical markings and lettering for models of the late Messerschmitt Bf 109 versions of the G and K series in 1:72 scale. It contains the small service and maintenance stencils spread over the whole airframe and noticeably raises the credibility of the model's surface. It is an add-on decal set, not a model.

The real subject

The Bf 109G (Gustav) and Bf 109K (Kurfürst) series were the late and the most widespread variants of this German fighter toward the end of the Second World War. The machines carried dense technical markings around the service hatches, the fuel and oil fillers and the walkways.

Use

• Apply the decals onto a glossy, smooth varnish for clean edges.
• Dip the piece briefly in lukewarm water and slide it into place; blot off the surplus water.
• Use a decal softener to settle them down into the detail.
• Finally go over them with a matte or semi-gloss varnish to unify the surface.
