This set is not a kit but a detail accessory. It contains pre-colored pilot seat belts made by the Space technology, that is a combination of steel photo-etch and color printing. The belts are fully colored and are glued into the cockpit with no painting needed. The set is intended for models of the Bf 109 G series in 1:48 scale.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 G (Gustav) was the most numerously produced version of the German fighter of the Second World War. It was powered by a Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine and was used on every front. On this popular model the finely rendered cockpit is among the most frequently upgraded areas.
The steel belts are easy to shape and hold a realistic sag. The parts are taken out of the fret, shaped lightly and glued on with super glue or with photo-etch adhesive. The effect brings the pilot's seat to life noticeably.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
