This is a detail accessory (an upgrade), not a complete airplane model. It is a 3D-printed resin set of the wheel bays and the landing gear legs in 1:48 scale from Eduard, intended for the SEPECAT Jaguar plastic kit from Airfix. The set replaces the corresponding plastic parts of the base kit and brings finer and more faithful detail to the wheel bays as well as the landing gear legs. A separate Airfix Jaguar base kit is needed to use it.
The SEPECAT Jaguar was a British and French single-seat tactical attack and reconnaissance aircraft. It was powered by a pair of Rolls-Royce and Turbomeca Adour turbojets and the machine specialized in attacks from low altitude. The British GR.1 and GR.1A versions served with the Royal Air Force and were deployed among other places in operations in the Middle East.
The accessory is intended for more experienced modelers. Wash the parts to remove any print resin residue, separate them carefully from the print blocks and clean them up. When sanding resin, protect your airways and ventilate. Bond with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), as ordinary cement for plastic does not hold on resin. Paint the bays and the landing gear legs separately before the final assembly, so that the details are brought out well; apply the weathering washes once the base colors have dried.
