An injection-molded plastic figure set, Deadly Raid – British Commandos, Dieppe 1942, in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Master Box.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic figure kit of British commandos in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer Master Box, from the series devoted to the Second World War. The set captures the soldiers during the landing at Dieppe in France in 1942 and is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The raid on the port of Dieppe (Operation Jubilee) took place on 19 August 1942 and was one of the first larger Allied landing operations on the occupied coast. The British commandos were tasked with silencing the German coastal artillery batteries threatening the landing beaches. The set depicts the soldiers in period equipment carrying out that task; it is a factual historical rendition.
Cut the parts off the sprues and glue them with liquid modeling cement for plastic. Paint the figures separately and bring out the face and the hands with glazes. The British battledress and equipment match earthy khaki shades; after the base coat, add washes and the fine wear that matches field conditions.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
