A soldier of the 1st Foreign Parachute Battalion, the Indochina War: figure No.7 is a resin figure in 1:35 scale from the BlackSnake Model brand, intended for a diorama.
Responsibility details are not available.
A single resin figure of a soldier in 1:35 scale from the French brand BlackSnake Model. The package contains one figure (No.7) to be assembled and painted; it is a historical figure intended for a diorama or as a collectible object on its own, not a finished painted model.
The figure captures a member of the 1st Foreign Parachute Battalion (1er BEP) of the French Foreign Legion from the period of the First Indochina War. The figure is conceived in period field equipment and in a naturalistic pose; the individual numbered pieces from this line can be combined into a multi-figure scene.
First wash the residue of the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut the casting blocks off and sand them down gently (with respiratory protection). Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and fill the seams with putty. Acrylic paints and the technique of layering, highlighting and shading have proved themselves on figures; unify the uniform and the equipment with a delicate wash.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
