A single resin figure in 1:35 scale from the French brand BlackSnake Model. It depicts a sniper of the American 2nd Armored Division from the period of the Second World War. The figure is printed on a 3D printer at high resolution and is supplied unpainted and unassembled as an accessory for a diorama or a display case.
The American 2nd Armored Division belonged among the best-known armored formations of the American army during the Second World War and fought in North Africa, in Sicily and in northwestern Europe. The figure of a sniper supplements the ordinary infantry figures and suits scenes with armor and with infantry of that period.
First wash the residue of the mold release agent off the resin parts and cut the casting blocks off carefully. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Do the sanding and the dry work on resin with respiratory protection. Lay down a primer before painting; it is a good idea to paint the figure with acrylic paints, and the face and the shadows can be finished off with oil paints or washes.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
