This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:25 scale from the American brand AMT captures a drag-racing 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle in the altered wheelbase version. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The current release came from newly cut tooling and brings black vinyl tires, including printed drag slicks, and an extended sheet of waterslide decals.
Cars with an altered wheelbase stand for the early 1960s of the American drag scene, when production bodies were modified for better transfer of traction to the rear axle. The Time Machine is one of the iconic representatives of this style of funny car, which laid the ground for the later factory specials. The decals let the builder choose the engine displacement lettering as they wish.
Glue the parts with thin modeling cement for plastic. For a faithful gloss on the body use a primer, apply the paint with an airbrush and finish with a gloss clear coat, which is also ideal as a base under the decals. Mask the chrome and clear parts so that they stay clean.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
