An injection-molded plastic kit of the American Ford Custom Van of 1977 in 1:25 scale from AMT. It is an officially licensed model in the retro style of the Fanta brand, which according to the enclosed instructions can be built in three versions: as a customized custom, as a production stock, or as a delivery van. In the box you will find color Fanta waterslide decals, body and interior parts and the add-ons for the custom version.
Big vans were a symbol of leisure culture in the USA of the 1970s: their owners decorated them with airbrushed motifs, wide wheels and side exhausts. Ford offered a roomy van in this class that suited work as well as conversions into camper and show vans. The Fanta finish follows on from that wave of colorful advertising and custom conversions.
Cut the parts off the sprues with a sharp knife and glue them with thin cement for plastic. We recommend spraying the body with an airbrush over a primer, finishing the gloss areas with a clear coat and only then seating the decals on it. Fit the chrome and the clear orange parts (roof vents, windows) last, so that they do not get dirty.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
