This resin set reproduces two iconic firearms of the South Korean army, the compact K1A and the K2 assault rifle, in 1:12 scale. This is not a standalone model but a detailed accessory for the hands of figures in the same scale. The package usually holds both weapons with their accessories, including magazines and a sling.
The K2 is the standard 5.56 mm assault rifle of the armed forces of the Republic of Korea, with a folding stock; the K1A is a shorter, compact variant derived from the same family and popular with airborne and special forces units. Together the two weapons form the backbone of South Korean infantry armament.
Clean the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue. Matte black to anthracite suits the metal parts and brown or olive shades the stocks and the grips; pick out the edges with a dry brush.
It is supplied as an unpainted resin set. Paints, glue and the figure are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
