Mantis Miniatures 1:16 Forest Set is a resin set of forest vegetation in 1:16 scale - mushrooms, small plants and a squirrel. It serves as a scenic accessory for dioramas; a set for experienced modelers.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Polish maker Mantis Miniatures brings elements of forest scenery cast in resin in the large 1:16 scale. According to the maker's data it contains six different mushrooms, several small plants and a squirrel. It is a scenic accessory for dioramas, not a kit.
Mushrooms, small vegetation and a squirrel help create a believable forest nook or undergrowth. In the large 1:16 scale the detail of the mushroom caps and of the small plants stands out, which leaves room for striking transitions of color.
Wash the parts free of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and clean them up. Bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and protect your airways when sanding. For vegetation and fur, acrylic paints, oils and pigments are suitable; a flat varnish will underline the natural look.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
