Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Polish maker Mantis Miniatures brings sparrows cast in resin in the large 1:16 scale. It is a small scenic accessory for figure compositions and dioramas, not a kit. The birds are generally cast one piece at a time with a minimum of casting seams.
Sparrows are among the unobtrusive but effective elements that bring both urban and rural scenes to life. In the large 1:16 scale the detail of the plumage and the poses comes out well.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and protect your airways while sanding. Acrylic paints suit the plumage, with gentle dry-brushing to bring out the texture.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
