1:35 Fallen Rebels is a resin figure set from the Polish maker Mantis Miniatures in 1:35 scale, depicting fallen fighters for dioramas of modern conflicts.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Polish maker Mantis Miniatures contains resin figures in 1:35 scale. The theme is fallen rebels, that is prone figures meant to round out a diorama on the theme of a modern armed conflict. These are cast resin parts for more experienced modelers; the set is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The figures capture fighters of irregular units in civilian as well as improvised military clothing, as is typical of the clashes in Africa and the Middle East around the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries. The figures are conceived matter-of-factly as an accessory to a scene, one that gives a diorama a situation with a story and a sense of scale.
First wash the parts free of the remains of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks and the pour stubs off carefully and align the joints. Bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and fill any gaps with putty. Apply a primer before painting, build the skin up by layering acrylics or oils and finish the clothing with drybrushed edges. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
