1:35 African Civilians is a resin figure set from the Polish maker Mantis Miniatures in 1:35 scale with civilian figures for dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Polish maker Mantis Miniatures contains resin civilian figures in 1:35 scale. The figures bring civilian as well as military scenes from the African setting to life and suit the rounding out of a diorama of the modern period. These are parts cast in resin for more experienced modelers; the set is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The figures capture civilian inhabitants in everyday clothing and are treated factually as an accessory to a scene. They give a scene scale, life and a believable setting, and work well in market, street or coastal dioramas.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, carefully cut off the casting blocks and fit the joints. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and fill the seams. Apply a primer before painting, build the skin up by layering acrylics or oils and finish the cloth with dry-brushing. Use respiratory protection when sanding resin.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
