A resin figure from the Polish maker Mantis Miniatures in 1:35 scale. It shows a passenger in a seated pose shaped so that he fits into the interior of a model of a Land Rover type off-road vehicle. These are parts cast in resin for more experienced modelers; the figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The figure captures an armed man of the irregular units of a modern African conflict in the passenger seat. The figure is treated factually as an accessory to a vehicle scene and, together with the driver figure, completes the crew of the vehicle. The seated pose matches the interior of the corresponding vehicle.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and fit the joints. Before gluing, try the figure dry in the interior of the vehicle. Glue it with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and fill the seams. Build the skin and the clothing up by layering acrylics or oils. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The vehicle, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
