This is a set of resin animal figures in 1:35 scale from the Polish maker Mantis Miniatures. It is not a model of a vehicle or an aircraft but a scenic accessory meant to bring a diorama, a vignette or a small scene of its own to life. The animals are cast in gray resin, as a rule one piece at a time, which makes cleaning up and gluing easier.
Lively animal figures give a scene scale, movement and naturalness. They work well as a counterpoint to military and civilian vehicles and to human figures, whether the scene is a village, a town or a landscape. The exact make-up of the set differs between the individual numbers in the range, so check the particular species against the illustration on the box.
First wash the parts free of mold release agent residue, carefully cut off the casting blocks and clean them up. Glue multi-part elements with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding. Painting is manageable with acrylic paints, and the natural look of fur or feathers will be supported by glazes and dry-brushing.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
