Lufthansa Airport Crew 1960s is a resin set of two airport figures of the 1960s in 1:35 scale from the Polish maker Mantis Miniatures.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings together two airport figures of the 1960s, a stewardess and a ground serviceman, as a single pair in 1:35 scale. These are 3D-designed resin castings for period airport dioramas. It comes as a kit to be assembled and painted.
A stewardess and a ground serviceman together make up a complete period scene of aircraft handling. The stewardess is in an elegant 1960s uniform, the serviceman in work overalls rounded out with wheel chocks and marshalling paddles. Putting both figures in one set makes it easy to build a complete airport diorama.
This is a resin set for more advanced modelers. First wash the parts free of mold release agent residue, carefully cut off the casting blocks and clean up the parting lines. It is glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate); sand it with your airways protected. Apply a primer before painting; skin and clothing both work well in acrylic paints with shading and dry-brushing.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
