A set of replacement heads with an angry, irritated expression, cast in resin in 1:35 scale. The package contains 12 heads - 6 different faces, each in two sizes. It serves for conversions and for improving figures: by changing a head you give a figure a strong emotion that is legible even in a small scale. The maker is the Polish brand Mantis Miniatures.
Figures in 1:35 scale differ according to the maker and the sculptor, so a universal head need not fit every body. Mantis therefore gives each face in two sizes, so that you can more easily find a head that is proportionally suited to the figure you already have. The expressions are sculpted boldly enough for the emotion to be apparent to the naked eye after a conversion.
Wash the resin castings in lukewarm water with a detergent to remove the mold release agent. Cut the necks off the casting blocks and adjust them to seat on the body of a figure, and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). For a face, a primer and patient layering of the skin in acrylics with fine washes that bring out the features of the expression have proved their worth.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
