A set of replacement heads with a smiling, cheerful expression, cast in resin in 1:35 scale. The package contains 12 heads: 6 different faces, each in two sizes. It serves for conversions and for improving figures: changing the head gives a figure an emotion that reads even at a small scale. The maker is the Polish brand Mantis Miniatures.
Figures in 1:35 scale differ from one maker and sculptor to another, so a one-size head need not fit every body. Mantis therefore gives each face in two sizes, so that you can find a head in proportion to the figure you already have more easily. The expressions are sculpted boldly enough for the emotion to be visible to the naked eye after the conversion.
Wash the resin castings in lukewarm water with detergent to remove the mold release agent. Cut the necks off the casting blocks and adjust them to seat on the body of the figure, then glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). For the face, a primer and patient layering of the skin in acrylics with fine washes to bring out the features of the expression prove themselves.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
