This resin set contains replacement heads with sleeping facial expressions in 1:35 scale from the Polish maker Mantis Miniatures. It is neither a stand-alone figure nor a vehicle kit but a detail accessory meant for replacing the stock heads on plastic or resin figures. The heads are offered in two sizes so that they fit the bodies of various makers proportionally.
Cast heads with closed eyes and relaxed features make it possible to depict resting, sleeping or fallen soldiers in a diorama. Thanks to the fine casting, the details of the face stand out better after painting than on standard injection-molded heads.
Wash the parts free of the remains of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off carefully at the neck and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Adjust the neck if need be so that the head seats into the collar of the body. For facial tones, layering of flesh shades and a fine wash into the recesses have proved their worth.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Figures, glue, paints and further accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
