A resin set of replacement heads in modern PASGT helmets with a camouflage cover, in 1:35 scale, from the Polish maker Mantis Miniatures. It is neither a figure nor a kit but a detail accessory for replacing the stock heads on figures of modern soldiers. The heads are cast in two sizes for a proportional match with various bodies.
The PASGT helmet was the standard ballistic helmet of the American army from the 1980s on. The characteristic camouflage cover over the helmet is a key mark of the contemporary soldier. The set joins this helmet directly to the head, so a swap gets you a faithful figure.
Wash the parts free of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off at the neck and bond them with cyanoacrylate. Adapt the neck to the collar of the body. Paint the camouflage cover according to the pattern you choose and build the face up in flesh shades.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Figures, glue, paints and further accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
