A resin conversion set from the maker AML in 1:72 scale for the all-metal sporting, touring and liaison aircraft Messerschmitt Bf 108 Taifun in its B-1 version. It contains the parts that set this version apart, usually together with decals. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory to a plastic model of the matching scale, which is not in the package.
The Bf 108 Taifun was a modern four-seat low-wing monoplane of the 1930s with retractable landing gear and a cantilever structure, and the later Bf 109 fighter grew out of its design. It served for sport flying, liaison and courier duties and as a staff aircraft; a number of countries used it after the war as well.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, separate the casting blocks and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The conversion calls for measuring out and cleaning up the mating surfaces, and possibly small modifications of the plastic model. Sand the resin with your breathing protected. Apply the decals over a gloss base and fix them with a clear coat.
This is an accessory to a model; the aircraft kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
