This injection-molded plastic kit captures the Toyota 86 sports coupe with the ZN6 body in 1:24 scale from Aoshima. The car follows a comic book subject about a hero named Kanata Katagiri, specifically the Odawara Pikes Peak specification from the first volume of the series. The package offers parts from new molds, among them special aluminum wheels, a seat, a steering wheel, decals and masking stickers for the window frames, and a small drone in the same scale is usually included too.
The Toyota 86 is a modern rear-wheel-drive car conceived as a light, fun coupe with a flat-four engine. In the comic book series it is driven by the main hero, and the car carries distinctive racing modifications and livery. This version matches the form it has in the opening volume of the story.
Smooth the body and spray it with an airbrush; the masking stickers supplied make the window frames easier. Apply the decals onto dry gloss clear coat. Join the plastic parts with thin cement, and glue the clear and chrome parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Finish painting the interior before you close the body up.
