A large set of British type 1942 jerrycans of 20 liters (5 gallons) in 1:35 scale from Gecko Models: period equipment for Second World War dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
A large supplementary package of plastic models of British type 1942 fuel jerrycans of roughly 20 liters (5 gallons) in 1:35 scale from Gecko Models. This is not a vehicle and not a figure but period equipment. The large number of cans makes it possible to fill cargo beds, trailers and depot positions generously.
The British can introduced during the Second World War drew on experience with earlier unreliable containers. It had a sturdy pressed steel construction, a characteristic angular shape, three handles for easy passing from hand to hand and a stackable profile for transport in cramped conditions.
Clean the flash off the parts and bond them; thanks to the number of pieces a base coat with an airbrush all at once comes in handy. Washes into the pressings, a worn metal edge and light rust or spilled fuel with pigments will add conviction. Place the cans in various positions so that the scene does not look stiff.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
