A resin detail part of the supercharger air intake for a model of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter in the G-2, G-4 and G-6 versions in 1:32 scale from the Czech manufacturer Quickboost, which is a brand of the company Aires. It is not a model of an aircraft but a replacement part with a faithful shape that takes the place of the simplified or inaccurate plastic intake on the side of the fuselage.
The Bf 109 was the main German fighter of the Second World War; the G series (the Gustav) was among the most widespread. The air intake above the supercharger on the left side of the engine cowling is one of the characteristic recognition features of these versions.
Wash the part free of mold release agent, cut off the casting block and glue it with super glue (cyanoacrylate); sand the mating face lightly if needed for a clean fit and protect your airways while sanding. Paint it to match the surrounding cowling and blend it into the overall weathering of the aircraft.
