This is a resin detail set, not an airplane model. The set holds faithfully cast engine cowlings together with the cooling flaps in the closed position for kits of the B-25H/J Mitchell bomber in 1:72 scale. It replaces the corresponding plastic parts and refines the shape and the breakdown of this part of the airframe. The accessory carries the Quickboost name, which belongs to the maker Aires.
The North American B-25 Mitchell was a twin-engine medium bomber that made its name in a wide range of roles from coastal attacks to the support of ground troops. The H and J versions were among the late production variants with a marked change to the armament.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Before fitting, check the fit with the fuselage and the engine nacelles of the particular kit; the seating can be fine-tuned with light sanding, with respiratory protection.
The accessory is supplied unpainted; paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
