WWII IJN Aircraft Carrier Mast Set II 1:350 (Flyhawk)

A photo-etched detail set from the Flyhawk brand in 1:350 scale. This is NOT a ship model but an accessory: a set of thin metal parts for building faithful masts for Japanese aircraft carriers of the Second World War period. Set II is one of the four variants in the range, intended for a particular group of carriers.

What the set is for

• It replaces coarse plastic masts with a fine photo-etched structure with faithful latticework and platforms.
• It raises the detail and the scale fidelity of the upper works of the model.
• It adds the antenna and signal fit of the masts.

Building tips

• Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and glue them with cyanoacrylate.
• Form the bends in a photo-etch bending tool or along a sharp edge.
• Degrease them before painting; an airbrush and a primer suited to metal are ideal.

This is a photo-etched detail accessory, not a ship kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
